Hunger Games Guide To One Million Views avianquests.com

People are hungry for information. In reality, the realm we presently live in is where the real "hunger games" takes place on a daily basis. The existing playing field of the earth has given us the equal chances to access various technology-based tools/resources at our disposal to help our fellow human-beings.

I just opened my email today and saw this subject matter:
Your photos reached a new record on Google Maps!

Actually, it was nothing new. I announced hitting the half million photo/image views last 4/20/2017 02:14:00 PM and I said on the same date that I accumulated a total of 612 photos out which generated 763,231 views and that a  million views were forthcoming. I have no psychic abilities or abilities to read a crystal ball (laughs).

So, if you haven't read that 500K Hunger Games, here's the link to my blog post.

In a nutshell. Google Maps acts as the virtual playing field or a physical world drama stage and together with Google Local Guides (actors) of which both work hand in hand following a script (Google Local guidelines) and together made all these things possible.

Simply put, (which is not by accident), mass group effort occurred which might probably be predestined and that all who use Google Maps have created a sort of virtual photo gallery and sharing all of these to the entire world to help others makes physical borders now boundless. If I were a full-time commercial photographer, then perhaps I would have become rich and made a lot of fortunes but my blood of intent is not to seek the perishable avenues but to accumulate good actions (karma) which are imperishable in an artistic and scientific manner. I don't have intentions of competing with anybody and I focus on a daily basis in making my photography better to serve a common good, a higher purpose.
It's all achievable to become a Google Local Guides and you don't need to be a rocket scientist to attain this voluntary pursuit. It all starts with you posting a single photo using Google Maps about your place, or a place you have visited and you'll never know that seconds, minutes, hours, days, months that people who use their mobile phones, laptops, personal computers, tablets, etc., will be accessing a photo/image as a guide or better yet, a cure to personal homesickness since one's memories of his/her love and remembrances to a certain place as depicted in an image/photo brings immediate joy and happiness. Just repeat the process of randomly posting photos using Google maps and you're good to go.

At this juncture, it's been a great ride and I will continue to share my photos/images in Google Maps. Humbly, I've just started my personal journey, just the tip of an iceberg, a lifetime full of adventures awaits. Let's keep exploring and always bring a camera and use it (click) wisely.
