8th Tam-awan International Arts Festival Baguio City Philippines Blue Skies Opening Ceremonies
It's a great day with generally blue skies littered randomly with white-daubed clouds to start the formal opening ceremonies of the 8th Tam-awan Arts Festival, Baguio City, Cordillera Administrative Region, Philippines.

8th Tam-awan International Arts Festival Baguio City Philippines One Cordillera Dap-ay Brewed Coffee Morning
As usual, my photography colleague/friend Gio and I arrived at the festival site early. I went up to one of the Dap-ay (a men's dormitory, and civic center.) and upon seeing the coffee cups transported me back to good comfort memories associated with drinking coffee and that brings me to share this very important link about Cordilleran coffee

I noticed the scattered cigarette butts on public places which will be the last in its days with the President Duterte signing Executive Order 26 (EO 26) on May 19, 2017 for the strict implementation of the Philippine nationwide smoking ban.

Cordillera rono sticks used in planting assist/support plants (e.g., climbing beans, etc.) who need trellises for their growth and development. Tam-awan artists use wild rono sticks as safety fences which form as art installations in their own right.
