Windows Print Spooler Remote Code Execution Vulnerability Fix
Let's get on it.
1. Find your Control Panel
2. Right click on Administrative Tools
3. Right on Click Services
4. Run as Admin
Normally Print Spooler is not disabled.
So, let's disable it (for safety purposes).
4. Right Click Print Spooler
5. Click on Properties
6. On the General tab, under Startup type drop down, choose Disabled.
7. Click, OK.
8. Go to the Recovery tab,
and apply
Take No Action on all the three (3):
First Failure, Second failure, Subsequent failures lines.
This will seal the deal not to get the print spooler "resurrected."
9. Follow and apply all recommendations/updates for guidance as they come.
Easy peasy.
